Two Maritime Police officers injured in boat collision

Numa operação de combate de estupefacientes a embarcação onde viajavam foi brutalmente abarroada. Durante a operação foi intercetada uma lancha a alta velocidade com três tripulantes que foi detida com os seus ocupantes. Uma segunda embarcação cheia de fardos de droga, no momento lançados à água embateu brutalmente contra a Polícia Marítima, fugindo de seguida. Dois marinheiros caíram feridos ao mar, socorridos e transportados por uma aeronave das FAP ao hospital. A droga recolhida foi entregue à Polícia Judiciária.

In an operation to combat narcotics, the vessel they were traveling on was brutally rammed. During the operation, a high-speed boat with three crew members was intercepted and detained with its occupants. A second vessel full of drug bales, at the time thrown into the water, brutally collided with the Maritime Police, immediately fleeing. Two sailors fell overboard wounded, rescued and transported by an FAP aircraft to the hospital. The drug collected was handed over to the Judiciary Police.
